Whether it's children's birthday parties or a regular afternoon or evening event, families with young children are a very important target group for your bowling center.
To ensure everyone, regardless of age or skill level, can truly enjoy their time on the lanes, an automatic bumper system linked to the scoring system is now a must-have for every bowling center. Bumpers allow everyone to participate and have a fair chance of winning.
When we started developing our own bumpers in 2020, the main goals were quickly defined: maximum flexibility and durability of the components, optimal energy efficiency, easy on-site assembly, and lots of fun for the bowlers. The result is our NGT airObumper.
A bumper system in the usual NGT Bowling quality
Like all airO products, the airO bumpers are pneumatically driven by a torsion-driven air cylinder, which raises the bumper quickly, quietly, and, most importantly, energy-efficiently. They are designed to integrate seamlessly with the other bowling lane components. They automatically raise themselves as soon as it is the turn of a player who has activated this function. If the next player has not selected bumpers, they automatically lower back into the lane floor at the start of their turn.
The airObumpers are made from a highly durable and impact-resistant plastic compound, designed to be virtually maintenance-free. In the unlikely event of irreparable damage to a part, the 25cm modules can be replaced with a click by practically anyone in your center.
