We are interested in spreading concrete information and experiences about current bowling technology. And who can do this better than a bowling alley operator who works with these products on a daily basis. Here, Andreas Schösser (Operations Manager Planet Bowl Kaiserslautern) has his say to explain why he chose NGT:

When we entered the bowling business in 2006, we relied on a company from Baden-Württemberg. After more than ten years of stressful experience with the ropeless KF - 3000, we came to the conclusion that we needed something new and functional!

Our original supplier at the time offered neither technical support nor further development of the tracks. Only a sale of spare parts was available. So it was time to change to something new, modern and above all sustainable. We had been watching the airOsetter bowling lanes from NGT for some time.
In my opinion, it is currently the most energy-saving and modern system on the bowling market. Mr. Walterbach, whom I have already got to know in the bowling business over the last few years, is a very friendly and competent contact person when it comes to bowling. He quickly informed us about the latest technology. A renewal of our technical area from NGT including lighting technology and scoring then quickly turned into a complete renovation and refurbishment of our entire facility. In the first construction phase in 2019, we had renewed all the lanes and the lighting technology. 

In 2020, the floor was renovated further and all our furniture was replaced. The NGT team was there to help us with any questions we had. The execution of the construction work was also managed by a site manager who was always present and was also to our best satisfaction!   

An excellent after-sales service was of course also very important to us and our spare parts stock now consists of only five items. The complete package from NGT has convinced me all round and I can only recommend it. 


During the entire Corona pandemic, we had no problems whatsoever with the system and maintenance was practically unnecessary. The restart when we reopened was also trouble-free.
We have also been using the 4bowl reservation system for some time now, which, like the VECTRON POS system, is integrated into the NGT IMPULS scoring. 


I think we are very well positioned for the future with our systems from 4bowl and NGT and we are looking forward to further good cooperation with the NGT team.
